In honor of Women's History Month, ²Ê°ÔÍõÁùФ's Women's Resource Center organized a "Women in the Arts" panel discussion on March 14. Three accomplished professional women from our community shared their insights, experiences and wisdom with students, faculty and staff during an hour-long session in the Greer Environmental Sciences Center. ²Ê°ÔÍõÁùФ Establishes National Bonner Leaders Program
President Scott D. Miller has announced the establishment of the National Bonner Leaders Program at ²Ê°ÔÍõÁùФ. The program is an intensive, four-year community leadership opportunity that educates, equips, and inspires students to engage in our local community and beyond through a partnership with the Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Foundation. More

Bob Blog: Mascot Madness
During March Madness, ²Ê°ÔÍõÁùФ mascot Bob Marlin reflects on his own creation: It all started back in 1963. Inspired by my legendary fighting fish lineage, the University's very first Board of Trustees adopted the marlin as ²Ê°ÔÍõÁùФ's mascot. It wasn't until 2003 that the "Bob Marlin" as you know me, with my colorful mischief-making, pompom-swiping persona, was born. You see, I am a student invention, the result of a class project assigned by recreation and leisure studies professor Doug Kennedy.   More
